ProEconomy are included for copper and silver on the Article 95 BPD listing

As of the 1st of September any company that uses a biocide (any substance used as a biocidal agent including chemicals such as chlorine dioxide) that is not on the ‘Article 95 list for the product type(s) to which the product belongs’ will be withdrawn from the European marketplace. ProEconomy are founding members of the copper and the silver task forces and are therefore included in the Article 95 list for both copper and for silver. This means that ProEconomy will not be affected by the Biocidal Products Directive September 2015 deadline and will be able tocontinue to use their product to successfully control Legionella and Pseudomonas bacteria in water systems throughout the UK.
If you search for ProEconomy on the article 95 list you will find our inclusion on product types 5 and 11 (bathing and drinking water) for both copper and silver.
