We Interview Simon Murawski To Find Out What It’s Like Working For ProEconomy

Ever wondered what it’s like working at one of the most advanced water treatment and monitoring companies?

We’ve interviewed our new sales engineer, Simon Murawski, to find out what it’s like working for ProEconomy, his goals at ProEconomy, his favourite thing about our water treatment and monitoring products and how working for us is helping him to keep active and learn Japanese!

What is your role at ProEconomy?

I am employed as a sales engineer. So basically, I am responsible for spreading the knowledge and excitement about our products to new people, new places and new markets.

How are you finding working at ProEconomy?

It’s brilliant, it’s a lot of fun. We have a great team of really knowledgeable and professional people. I enjoy working with them and learning from them. But, at the same time, we don’t take ourselves too seriously so it’s a great environment to work in.

What was your first day like at ProEconomy?

I was so excited to join and was immediately impressed! Waiting for me on day one was all the tools I need to do my job efficiently. It was immediately obvious to me when I arrived that there was a strong attention to detail and that they understood their business well, so I could get on with my job without any delay.

Plus, when I went into the office it was full of smiles, full of energy and had a really positive working environment. I was buzzing!

What would you like to achieve at ProEconomy?

I want to spread our technology and our expertise across the country and ultimately across the globe.

My personal ambition is to use our knowledge of water hygiene to see how we can help those in more developing countries where access to water isn’t easy. Water shortages are already developing worldwide so this is going to be increasingly important in our future world.

What’s the best thing about working for ProEconomy?

The best thing for me is the trust in me to do my job. Wherever I need to be, and whatever the customer needs, I’m not having to worry about getting bogged down in the details, I’m able to get on with it.

Also, we have our monthly team building meetings. So, the first week I was going bowling and next there is talk of cocktail making. So we have a laugh too!

What is your favourite thing about ProEconomy’s products, the Orca, Tetras and RAY?

It’s fantastic when you’re doing a job like mine when you’re able to believe in the technology you’re selling. So, the best thing for me is the seal of approval we have with the Royal Warrant, and the many prestigious sites that use our products. This proves to me that the technology we have here does what it is supposed to.

And, with all of our products I truly get to believe I’m helping people, helping the planet and ultimately preventing infections in the water supply so it’s very rewarding.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Right now, I’m learning to salsa dance and I’m learning to speak Japanese. I love my sport, I’m very active, so, again, it’s good with ProEconomy, I’m able to work flexible hours so I can fit everything into my day that I want to fit in.
