  ProEconomy are an SME based in Milton Keynes growing at pace in the water hygiene industry. We need an entrepreneurial person who want to join a small but impactful team in a business that’s able to offer job security. You’ll be a target driven individual that has experience or is currently working for a water hygiene company, who thrives on autonomy and who wants to work for a company that ‘makes a difference’.

  The ProEconomy copper and silver water treatment solution saves lives, and our clients include some of the largest NHS trusts and organisations across the UK. Due to growth, we’re looking for an area manager in the Manchester / NW region. The ideal candidate will have experience in water hygiene sales, used to working independently and who thrives on autonomy. With your contacts and knowledge in the region, you’ll be able to hit the ground running, managing and growing your own pipeline, selling our water hygiene products and services as well as being used to managing clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong sales and leadership skills to make a significant impact within a dynamic organisation.

  You will have:

  • A full drivers license (although the role will be home based, time will be spent visiting potential customers, attending conferences, and one day per month at our Milton Keynes Head Office).
  • A history in sales, lead generation and working to sales targets.
  • A good knowledge of computers to include our CRM Salesforce, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Linkedin.

• Water Hygiene Engineer (Team Leader)

  Founded in 1993, trading for over 31 years, we have been revolutionising the water industry worldwide by developing a water treatment system known as the Orca. This copper and silver ionisation system eradicates harmful built environment water pathogens such as Legionella and Pseudomonas ensuring the water system is safe for human consumption.

  In 2015 we launched a water sampling service which offers a wide range of parameters for different water systems. The service is inclusive of the on-site sample, lab analysis and management service using our cloud based water management service, Tetras.

  Through the ProEconomy Continuous Competency Programme (CCP), the successful candidate will be trained and mentored in key areas as required, ensuring thorough support in developing understanding of the company including its values and policies, software, and practical understanding and experience of the services being completed.

  • Pipework disinfection
  • TMV maintenance and remedials
  • Remedial plumbing
  • Cold water storage inspection and disinfection
  • Calorifier inspection and disinfection
  • Shower head descale and disinfection
  • Temperature profiling
  • Little used outlet flushing
  • Closed system analysis and flushing

  Qualifications

  Essential:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • English and Maths GCSE or equivalent
  • Water Hygiene Training

  Desirable:

  • City and Guilds certification or equivalent
  • Level 3 NVQ / Diploma in Plumbing Studies or equivalent
  • Water Regulations (WRAS)
  • Vented and Unvented Hot Water Systems

  Experience

  • Minimum five years’ experience in a water/plumbing related role
  • Experience supervising or leading a team
  • Knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM04-01, WRAS
