Waste and Recycling
As a company we are conscious of our waste and recycling and are committed to reducing the amount of waste that is produced through the manufacture of the Orca system and through the operation of ProEconomy itself.
The Orca’s Waste
The Orca system is designed to produce as little waste as is possible and we are continually redesigning the system to reduce waste and increase our recycling efforts.
One of our principle aims has been to source only recycled copper and silver. Via a strict policy of recycling all waste copper and silver and by buying new silver and copper from suppliers that source their silver and copper from scrap we have now attained this.
We are proud to say that the Orca system consumes 100% recycled metal.

ProEconomy Go Plastic Free
At ProEconomy we believe that companies must lead by example when it comes to waste and recycling. Therefore we are fully committed to recycling where possible and are proud to recycle 80% of our general office waste. Not only this, but, we are aiming to go ‘Plastic Free’ in our offices to help the environment and the plastic crisis we are encountering. We provide all staff with reusable coffee cups and water bottles to help them do their bit for the environment. You can follow our #plasticfree journey on social media!
