Please see an update on the steps we are taking to ensure our Orca copper silver ionisation system will still be available on the UK and EU markets after Brexit.
ProEconomy have appointed ProEconomy, Herengracht 134, 2312 LH Leiden, Holland as ProEconomy Ltd’s EU representative. ECHA’s Article 95 has been updated accordingly.
The HSE are the UK competent authority under the BPR. ProEconomy are, therefore, also in communication with the HSE for listings of ProEconomy’s copper and silver in the EC Biocidal Products Directives through the EU copper and silver task forces, of which ProEconomy are founder members.
How Will Brexit Impact The Orca System?
When Brexit happens ProEconomy will take the required steps to ensure that the Orca copper silver ionisation system can remain on the UK as well as the EU markets.
As it looks like BPR dossiers may have to be submitted to the HSE after Brexit. ProEconomy are well placed to do so because these dossiers have already been submitted to the Rapporteur member states France (Anses) for copper and Sweden (KemI) for silver, who are currently evaluating ProEconomy’s copper and silver for listings in the EC Biocidal Products Directives.
A technical dossier has also been submitted to the competent authority for Holland under the BPR, the CtGB, who are currently evaluating it for authorisation of the Orca system in Holland. When successful, ProEconomy will submit such a technical dossier to other EU member states.
We will update you on ProEconomy and Brexit via our blog and social media channels.
