The Orca At Churchill Hospital
The Orca at Churchill Hospital (part of the John Radcliffe in Oxfordshire) was installed at the beginning of this year. Since then, the copper and silver ionisation system has completely eradicated Legionella.
Pre-commissioning samples at 14 points showed a Legionella contamination percentage of 64.2%. This percentage has reduced to 0% post Orca installation.
It is another success story for the Orca and adds to the weight of data that proves just how effective our system is. For more information and to see the results for yourself please contact us.
Future Plans For The Orca
After the great results seen with the Orca at Churchill hospital, John Radcliffe hospital has installed a new Orca unit at the Womens Centre within their main building. We hope to install a further large system soon that will treat the rest of their site.
