I attended the Second Legionella and Environmental Action Platform (L.E.A.P 2) one-day workshop last Friday.
Firstly, I have to compliment the organizers, Manta Workshops, on the great choice of venue for the event. On arrival at the venue – Milton Keynes Discovery Centre, I thought my sat nav had led me the wrong path. The place looked more like a farm than a venue for a conference. After grabbing a latte from the ‘VW kombi van café’ I entered the barn where the workshop took place. The set up comprised of five big round tables with two experts discussing the various subjects at each table and a presentation platform. There were also stands where commercial suppliers of equipment related to Legionella, Pseudomonas and general microbial control displayed their products. Read more
