The Barracuda

Many companies have experienced limited success when treating cooling towers with potable water systems because of the larger influx of bacteria.

The Barracuda is a copper and silver ionisation system for separately treating cooling towers. Because the water is not ingested the ion concentration limits can be increased allowing it to deliver a greater level of copper and silver ions required for the higher bacteria concentrations.

Within a month of installation the Barracuda successfully eradicated Legionella that had withstood chemical treatments in five cooling towers at the European Space Agnecy in Holland.
